Kaitlin Kwan is currently a third-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Guelph.

As an undergraduate research assistant with the Khan Research Group, she is focused on material innovations for detection of microbial contamination in water for environmental and agricultural applications.

Outside of the lab, Kaitlin has a strong passion for animals, which inspires her pursuit of a career in veterinary medicine.
